This morning was..Tuesday. Right? Yes. It was Tuesday. I woke up with my arm asleep above my head. This is a new habit for me and I don’t understand why I do it. I never used to have dead arms waking up! It’s very uncomfortable. -_-
For breakfast I went with Weetabix, plum, toasted cashews, and dried cranberries. Man I love how easy cereal is and how satisfied it makes me. The babies absolutely love it too. They lick my bowl clean.
Happy Monday everyone! I didn’t post a quickie last night because I knew I was gonna get up early to study, and why not use some of that time to be distracted by you lovely people.
My Sunday started off kind of awfully. Seattle got like 3 inches of snow, but that wasn’t the problem. I actually saw plows (very rare here) so I felt like I could drive. The problem was…I’d left my lights on all night so when I got in my car to head to work at 4:45am….it didn’t start! Crap! Who the hell was I gonna find this early in the morning to help me?!
Luckily my co-worker and her husband came and picked me up, and we drove down the hill, covered in eerie abandoned cars and car crashes.
We got to work though and it was a fine morning! On my breakfast break I ate Weetabix with a packet of nuts, dried fruit, and blueberries from our “Classic Oatmeal” along with a Grande orange refresher with black tea instead of water. I also ate an unpictured baggie of raw almonds and dried apricots when I was still hungry.
Hey everyone, sorry I’ve been MIA the last few days. To be honest all of it’s been kind of a blur. Work and fun combined. >.< Let me see if I can piece together what I ate…
Like I mentioned on Thursday, we were having a sleepover party at my place! My co-workers Aaron and Martie came over and we drank wine and ate nachos and talked long into the night. I pretty much tried to ignore the fact that I had class at 8am the next day. >.<
Did everyone have a great Saturday? Ya know, mine wasn’t bad. =) Not really any major things to complain about…well besides my aging body! I thought I was sore yesterday…but today was so much worse! My calves are so tight I had issues walking. >.< That said I took a day off from the gym since I couldn’t even walk there.
But first I had work. Annoyingly enough my new manager showed up 15 minutes late for the shift…I know it wasn’t her fault (miscommunication) but it still made me loose 15 minutes of my shift, 15 minutes I could have been getting more sleep!
By the time it was my 10 minute break I was very hungry. Luckily I’d brought this Tropical Escape Choani Flip for a snack and enjoyed it with a double short ristretto Americano with a 1/2 pump mocha and a 1/2 pump caramel. I chugged it down! I really needed the caffeine today.
I’m not gonna lie. I’ve been feeling somewhat negative about what I’ve been eating since my appetite came back. I feel like it’s more than I actually need. It’s just been kind of this feeling that stays with me through my whole day. I was actually surprised to see that I didn’t eat that much today. There was no reason to feel bad! (Okay so there’s never a reason to feel bad but you know what I mean..)
My morning started way too early on this holiday (Yay Martin Luther King, Jr!). See I’m a really nice person and a co-worker needed to swap a shift so instead of having two full days off in a row I went and worked over an 8 hour shift! The real treat: it was time and a half!! Woot woot.
Anyway so around 5:30am I ate a breakfast of Weetabix, fresh banana, sunflower seed butter, and raisins.
Am I getting old? The excuse I just said to myself on whether I should write my post right now or tomorrow was “I’m tired and it’s after 10pm!” Yeah that’s why I decided to write. It’s only 10pm and I am young!!! Darn tootin.
Breakfast this morning was a quick bowl of Weetabix with cut up fruit (apple and an orange slice, yay free Starbucks fruit cups), sunflower seed butter, and raisins. Eaten way too fast because even though I pretty much binged on chocolate and Wheat Thins last night, my body was still hungry by morning. -_- I hate when I don’t understand my body.
It started at the late hour of 5am. Since I had the 6:30am little shift I took the time to eat breakfast at home. Last of the Weetabix with trail mix and a drizzle of sunflower seed butter. Mmm I’ve missed this butter.
You can always tell when I’m struggling by my inability to stay up with posts. =/ I’m so very sorry guys. I’m really trying but I just can’t keep up the strength. Let me try and remember yesterday and power through to today.
Since I’m done with the quarter (yay) I worked on a Thursday. It was strange since I didn’t open (4am) but instead had the second shift (6am). This oddly enough made me feel more tired the entire day! I arrived to work early so I could sip down a double tall soy vanilla latte. It was super delicious. I’m really enjoying the flavor and creaminess of soy milk, however, I am noticing I have more gas. =/
