Arg. It’s so hard playing catch-up like this. =/ Are you sure you guys really care what I eat? My photos have gone sooo downhill since I just don’t have time to make things pretty anymore.
Sunday was super rough because at 7am I got a call from my shift leader asking if I could come into work early since someone went home sick. I wasn’t supposed to work until 10 am! Of course I told her I’d be there and got straight to work.
However, I didn’t have breakfast so while working, I had to slowly eat some things. I didn’t get photos (duh) but I can certainly remember:
1/4 of a vegetable & Fontiago breakfast sandwich (Meh this new sandwich is a lot heartier than the previous Vegetable Artisan sandwich, but it still isn’t very tasty IMO)
So Thursday morning the babies had me up at 6am. They didn’t care that I didn’t have class until 10am. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just bug our guest on the couch instead of me! Is that bad hostess-thinking? =p
Anyway, I got up and made us all breakfast. Green smoothies! Martin had never had a green smoothie so I had to show him the light. Inside was milk, spinach, frozen banana, frozen mango chunks, and coconut oil. Delicious! He thought it was just okay, but this guy is annoyingly under impressed so whatever. =P
Geez it’s been so long it took me a little bit to figure out where I left off. Looks like Friday was my big melt down. Ug. And now my Lightroom isn’t even wanting to cooperate so I can show you guys the photos…Is this a sign? ./sigh
So like I said, Friday started off with me just feeling bad about myself. Just one of those days where you wake up and feel flabby and worthless.
Even though I knew I might be getting breakfast with my friends (we were carpooling to a field trip for my supplements class) I started my day off with a green smoothie. This was around 5:30am.
So after getting 12 hours of sleep last night, I found that I was still sick this morning. I tried to ignore it. Made a breakfast of toast with PB and Pumpkin Butter along with a mug of milk, showered…and ended up back in bed. My body was just not gonna have it. I was too shaky and achy.
So my breakfast photo looked so bad yesterday even my camera didn’t want to hold on to it! >.< For reals, it’s not there. I made Kodiak Cakes with pumpkin mixed in but I use the wrong pan to cook them in so they just looked like a pile of orange crumbles. I knew that pan wasn’t gonna work but I was too tired to wash the good one. Lesson learned.
I enjoyed them with a drizzle of almond butter, maple syrup, and Craisins, alongside a mug of milk.
Okay guys I gotta make this quick. Here’s what’s going on with me:
Next week is midterms and I haven’t gone anywhere near the level of studying I normally do. I’m kind of worried I may be becoming a “bad” student.
Not only is it midterms next week but my huge important dietetic internship application is also due. The application that decides the next year of my life.
I’m still trying really hard to be the person I want to be and that includes being social. No WONDER I’ve been such a good student all these years without having friends. Friends take time!
So anyway I don’t have time to write up nice interesting posts right now. In fact, I’m debating not posting at all at least until Valentine’s Day when everything is handed in and submitted. That seems like a little long break though so for now I’m going to aim for wordless posts, still sharing what I’m eating.

It started with me not being able to stay asleep. I awoke at 1am…I awoke at 3am..I then awoke again at 5am and gave up. -_- Sleep did not want me. I can’t even blame the babies for it this time.
For breakfast I made a green smoothie with Evolution Apple Carrot Juice, fresh spinach, low fat vanilla yogurt, frozen mango chunks, and fish oil. To be honest….this one tasted…fishy. Yeah. I slurped it down but I didn’t exactly enjoy it.
Since I ate so damn early…of course it wasn’t going to hold me over until lunch time. So around 7am I had a heated up roll with some huckleberry jam smashed inside. Delicious!
Around 9:30am I ate some orange slices while I worked on some homework in the cafeteria.
