Arg. It’s so hard playing catch-up like this. =/ Are you sure you guys really care what I eat? My photos have gone sooo downhill since I just don’t have time to make things pretty anymore.

Sunday was super rough because at 7am I got a call from my shift leader asking if I could come into work early since someone went home sick. I wasn’t supposed to work until 10 am! Of course I told her I’d be there and got straight to work.

However, I didn’t have breakfast so while working, I had to slowly eat some things. I didn’t get photos (duh) but I can certainly remember:

1/4 of a vegetable & Fontiago breakfast sandwich (Meh this new sandwich is a lot heartier than the previous Vegetable Artisan sandwich, but it still isn’t very tasty IMO)

1/2 of a blueberry scone

One chocolate smoothie with two add shots

I know O.O A lot! But this was eaten over a period of hours and continually being on my feet.

Stress Melt Down

Well guys..I’ve recently had another melt down so I’m finding it hard to find time to blog. I can hardly remember most days now, let alone what I eat. =( Let me try to catch up and spark my memory

Friday morning started off bright and early with a yogurt bowl of Chobani Mango 2% Greek yogurt, a cut up plum, raw oats, and almonds and dried cranberries. Not gonna lie…just looking at this makes me want to eat it right now!

I then headed to class to watch half my classmates present their supplement company research projects. Boring. -_-

Hostess with the Mostess?

So Thursday morning the babies had me up at 6am. They didn’t care that I didn’t have class until 10am. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just bug our guest on the couch instead of me! Is that bad hostess-thinking? =p

Anyway, I got up and made us all breakfast. Green smoothies! Martin had never had a green smoothie so I had to show him the light. Inside was milk, spinach, frozen banana, frozen mango chunks, and coconut oil. Delicious! He thought it was just okay, but this guy is annoyingly under impressed so whatever. =P

I feel pretty pleased with myself today. I took photos of absolutely everything I ate. Lately I’ve been letting nibbles here and there slide and it’s not helping me stay honest with myself.

This morning I had a breakfast of a Starbucks Greek yogurt with honey parfait, mixed with canned pumpkin, pumpkin spice, a spoonful of drippy almond butter, and dried cranberries.

Almost there!

Monday started with another Greek honey yogurt parfait mixed with banana and a spoonful of almond butter. I also tried sipping some Evolution Pineapple Coconut Water to get my thirst going. I put most of it back in the fridge, though, it did make me want water!

I’m trying really really hard this week to increase my fluid intake. I haven’t been getting enough for a few months now and it’s unacceptable!

Ancho Whipped Cream

Wow. While I was sitting here trying to figure out what I should do to distract me from the large piles of work I could and should be working on, I realized I had two blog entries to catch up! Well if that wasn’t a more perfect thing to do than homework I don’t know what is. Heart So let me catch you all up!

I must admit, I dread Friday mornings because I have the worst class I’ve been a part of in a long time. It’s called Nutritional Supplements and Herbs and the teacher (who is new to the school) knows nothing about them. This teacher also talks the most I’ve ever heard while saying the least. It’s a lot of repeating non-important information. She’s also so disengaging that a lot of students end up asking the same questions and instead of telling them to pay attention she just keeps repeating herself. It’s awful!

Anyway, I HAVE to have a ghetto mocha for that class, so I prepared my stomach for the caffeine with some hearty PB&J toast. One with fig butter, one with pumpkin butter, along with a mug of milk.

Overfed Christmas

Oh boy was this Christmas filled with a lot of food. >.<

It started with  me getting up at 8am, hungry. Sadly our plans were to eat “brunch” at my mom’s at 11…so instead of making a hearty healthy breakfast of oatmeal I ended up grabbing an Eggnog Boston Cream donut and enjoyed it with a cup of Thanksgiving Blend Starbucks coffee. It was super super delicious, but as we all know, not that filling.

Smoothies, Smaug, and Fish
