Not having a ton of papers to write, nor work, nor social obligations, totally allows me to have time to post!
This morning started off hard. Knowing I had plans in the evening, my workout buddy, Nick, and I agreed to meet at the gym at 6am. Boy did I feel that when I slid out of bed. On top of being tired and very sore from the previous workout, I was also very hungry! So for “breakfast” I had a banana and peanut butter with a glass of 1% milk.
Then off to the gym I went! 30 minute elliptical, 25 minute strength training, 5 minute stretch. Then I had to rush home!
Well guys..I’ve recently had another melt down so I’m finding it hard to find time to blog. I can hardly remember most days now, let alone what I eat. =( Let me try to catch up and spark my memory
Friday morning started off bright and early with a yogurt bowl of Chobani Mango 2% Greek yogurt, a cut up plum, raw oats, and almonds and dried cranberries. Not gonna lie…just looking at this makes me want to eat it right now!
I then headed to class to watch half my classmates present their supplement company research projects. Boring. -_-
Ug. I’m exhausted. Today was really hard emotionally. Too much time to sit around and think. Think about letting go of what I thought was my dreams. Accepting that I have some issues I need to work on. Trying to figure out how to tell people about those issues.
All the thinking was very emotional.
I was up around 7am. That’s sleeping in for me. Then I made a hot breakfast of Kodiak Cakes with maple syrup, almond butter, fresh plum, and dried cranberries.
Being productive, I got a lot of preparing done for my last counseling session tomorrow for my Nutritional Counseling class. I feel prepared and ready to finish this assignment.
Hi hi everyone. I gotta admit, yesterday turned into a rough day. Do I say this too often?
Started out great with a bowl of Chobani Blackberry Greek yogurt with raw oats, chia seeds, drippy almond butter, banana, and dried cranberries. It was nice to sit down at the table, read the news (lawl I call Facebook the news ~.^), and eat my breakfast.
And now we are finally on the correct day! =D Okay I may have stopped working on my big end stage renal disease case study to do this…but ya gotta have priorities right?!
This morning I was very excited to try the new Starbucks Greek yogurt raspberry lemon parfait, but I knew that wouldn’t be enough by itself so I had somewhat of a hodge podge of things. Hard boiled egg, banana and peanut butter, and finished off the Evolution Pineapple Coconut Water.
First off: wow. This parfait is amazing. Tart raspberry plus creamy lemon = perfection. It is a little higher in calories than the other two parfaits though by about 100 kcals. Totally worth it in my opinion.
Bleh. I’m feeling really sick tonight so I’m gonna make this a quick one.
My breakfast at work was the last of my sweet potato frittata, fresh fruit, and a tall iced orange refresher with black tea instead of water. Before this I’d drank an unpictured double short ristretto Americano with one pump Flan (**new Starbucks drink coming soon!) and a splash of breve. I actually really like the Flan syrup because it is very subtle.
Oh boy was this Christmas filled with a lot of food. >.<
It started with me getting up at 8am, hungry. Sadly our plans were to eat “brunch” at my mom’s at 11…so instead of making a hearty healthy breakfast of oatmeal I ended up grabbing an Eggnog Boston Cream donut and enjoyed it with a cup of Thanksgiving Blend Starbucks coffee. It was super super delicious, but as we all know, not that filling.
