This week has been hard. Grief is never easy. It’s brought out some bad things in my life and some good things.
Just wanted you to know I'm still here and breathing. I'm taking a recluse week and saying no to most social invitations to concentrate on getting caught up on school, taking some me time, and figuring out my life.
I DO want to get back to blogging, in fact I want to catch you all up on the past few days where I took most of the photos of my food. Just give me a day or so to get some homework done and have an hour to myself. ❤
Thank you all for the kind words and thoughts. I'm figuring out more and more about me everyday.
Ophie and I were browsing the net this morning and saw this cute little post over at Bye By Fat Pants. Ophie begged me to fill it out so she could sit on my lap longer..so here goes!

I have finally worked up the courage to start my own blog! I intend to use this space to document all the recipes I intend to try when I get back to home! I am going to learn to cook and I am going to learn to cook well!
Sadly I won’t return to the States until the beginning of September. Please eat some real food for me! Japan lacks it. Until then I am going to document some of the foods I eat here. Feel free to post comments and ask any questions.
Again this blog is strictly for food! I do do other things here but I like to talk about food best. ~.^
