Belated

It was so nice to wake up in my own bed yesterday surrounded by my fluffy babies! I’m lucky, this time they decided not to hold a grudge and just love me. ^_^

Unfortunately our fridge is pretty bare so breakfast was pretty bleh. Kirkland Nonfat Greek Yogurt, crunchy peanut butter, golden raspberry jam (from the Missoula Farmer’s Market) and raw oats. Later I added some dried cherries for texture. Honestly, I didn’t eat it all. =/ It just wasn’t very good.

Chase and I were out and about getting things done. We headed to Target to pick up some cleaning stuff and got hungry for lunch there..

..and with Red Robin across the street our mind was easily made up on where to go! It’s taken us six years, but we’ve finally figured out how we need to order so we are both happy. I get a side salad and he gets the fries, then we split them both! I also ate half of the Whiskey River BBQ Gardenburger Wrap and sipped down some peach iced tea. It was delicious and we had a blast just spending time together and chatting.

Next we headed to Bellevue for the DMV (Chase now has a WA drivers license!) and the Bellevue Square mall for returns and my annual makeup purchase! I’m kind of excited about my new stuff. ^_~ For those interested, I get all my makeup at bareMinerals. The sales women there are always super helpful and let you try anything you want on!

Once we got back to the condo it was around 5pm and we needed a little rest and snack before the evening’s festivities. My snack was a packet of senbei and peanuts that I’d apparently hidden in the cabinet. I love these!

Around 8pm the night started in the heart of Seattle! We totally have our “Seattle thing” down. We always park near the Seattle Center (that way while we’re walking back late at night we can always figure out what direction we need to go due to the Space Needle), then walk about a mile to our favorite restaurant, Green Leaf!

Since I knew we’d be out late tonight I decided to get a Thai Iced Tea. Mmmm these are good! For those who’ve never had one, they consist of strong black tea and sweetened condensed milk.

Before we knew it, it was time for our favorite food in Seattle! These Vietnamese vermicelli bowls are just indescribable. It’s citrusy, crisp, refreshing, and hearty all at the same time. I always get the vegetarian one which comes with grilled mushroom (only one because it’s the best damn mushroom you’ll ever taste), grilled tofu, fried tofu, and imitation ham.

This time I could only eat about half and took the rest home in a doggie bag.

After eating, we always walk the 3 or so miles to GameWorks for their Thursday all you can play. We had a lot of fun and I even almost kicked Chase’s butt at some of the racing games. ^_^ Overall it was a really great night. Happy Belated Birthday to the best boyfriend, Chase!
