I’m not so sure on my eating yesterday. I felt like I was doing really well for most of the day, and then things went bad at home and I gave up.
My my day started with a double short ristretto soy Gingerbread Latte. The spiced whip cream on this drink is the best dang part! Seriously worth it. I really needed this too. I was hungry and very very tired. =/ My sleep isn’t going well.
Sunday was another mediocre day for me. I managed to sleep in until 8am (after only waking up once), then realized how hungry I was and made breakfast.
I made what I felt like too. Pumpkin Kodiak Cakes drizzled with maple syrup, almond butter, and sprinkled with craisins. The pumpkin always makes these cakes sooo moist. I loved them.
And then after eating I realized just how tired I still was and went back to sleep until noon. Yeah, it was one of those mornings. It didn’t help that it was the darkest and dreariest day we’ve had in a long time.
Playing massive catch-up today. I’ve had some really great days and some bad ones, so I’ve been avoiding everything. Plus there’s been a real lack of vegetables and a plethora of refined carbohydrates…
I tried to set myself up on a good start for Thanksgiving morning with a Chobani Champion tube. Get my metabolism going nice and early.
Today was a really great day. In fact, so great, that I’m worried I don’t have time to give it justice before bed, but if I don’t write I’ll forget all the amazing things about it!
Let’s see..on my first 10 minute break I had a ristretto double short Americano with one pump peppermint and some steamed soy. It was so so. To be honest our espresso machines have been worked on and they just don’t seem to produce the same taste anymore. Honestly I drink them because I need the caffeine.
Can we all just take a moment to check out the beauty of this photo my Dad took out on some lonely lake in Montana yesterday? Wow right? How could you not be at peace there. It makes me long to be home.
Hey all! I’m still here. =) Just had some more rough times. Yeah I know, get used to it right? Well I’m here to catch you all up!
Started with a delectable smoothie: spinach, yogurt, milk, frozen mango, fish oil, coconut oil. I really do like smoothies. I was feeling like something light since that huge piece of pizza the night before really sat with me.
Been having one of those days where I don’t know what to eat.
Just to clean out the fridge a little I ended up having a sunny side up egg and a piece of toast with huckleberry jam for breakfast. It was actually quiet delicious. Maybe I need a little bit more savory in my life.
Well the world just keeps on turning. Thank you all so much for your kind comments and emails. They really mean a lot to me. Sometimes you just need unconditional support in the decisions you make. <3
Ok so yesterday I was up early (forgot to feed the babies dinner last night..) and headed off for an early morning 60 minute lap swim. It was a really great one, especially since the guy in the lane next to me was a retired swim coach so he totally gave me pointers on my breaststroke! Mom, we’ve been doing it very outdated. ~.^ I’m excited to perfect it more.
After the swim I got back home and made a breakfast of cashew butter and pumpkin butter toast with the last of the milk. Not very original I know. You’ll find my original food brain is absent. =/
