I’m not so sure on my eating yesterday. I felt like I was doing really well for most of the day, and then things went bad at home and I gave up.
My my day started with a double short ristretto soy Gingerbread Latte. The spiced whip cream on this drink is the best dang part! Seriously worth it. I really needed this too. I was hungry and very very tired. =/ My sleep isn’t going well.
Sorry I was MIA last night! You’ll see why I had no time to post. =(
I started my day off with another green smoothie! I’m obsessed with these right now. They are so good I don’t even change up the ingredients though I know I should for more variety and to just play around with it. Spinach, yogurt, milk, frozen mango, frozen banana, fresh lemon juice, fish oil, and coconut oil. It makes about 1.5 of my little to go-cups and is sooo smooth, creamy, and refreshing.
Hey all! I’m still here. =) Just had some more rough times. Yeah I know, get used to it right? Well I’m here to catch you all up!
Started with a delectable smoothie: spinach, yogurt, milk, frozen mango, fish oil, coconut oil. I really do like smoothies. I was feeling like something light since that huge piece of pizza the night before really sat with me.
Been having one of those days where I don’t know what to eat.
Just to clean out the fridge a little I ended up having a sunny side up egg and a piece of toast with huckleberry jam for breakfast. It was actually quiet delicious. Maybe I need a little bit more savory in my life.
Well the world just keeps on turning. Thank you all so much for your kind comments and emails. They really mean a lot to me. Sometimes you just need unconditional support in the decisions you make. <3
Ok so yesterday I was up early (forgot to feed the babies dinner last night..) and headed off for an early morning 60 minute lap swim. It was a really great one, especially since the guy in the lane next to me was a retired swim coach so he totally gave me pointers on my breaststroke! Mom, we’ve been doing it very outdated. ~.^ I’m excited to perfect it more.
After the swim I got back home and made a breakfast of cashew butter and pumpkin butter toast with the last of the milk. Not very original I know. You’ll find my original food brain is absent. =/
Well folks, Chase and I broke up for the final time. Yeah it’s been a hard few months and I finally just couldn’t take it any longer. (No I don’t want to talk about it so I’m basically going to leave those parts out of my blogs.) I really want to get back to myself though and part of that self is writing this blog and sharing with you all my passion for intuitive eating and nutrition. I hope you’re all still around to listen!
This morning I was up around 5am, hungry. I toasted two slices of whole wheat bread and slathered one with cashew butter and pumpkin butter, and the other with Costco’s new natural crunchy peanut butter and white raspberry jam. All with a big mug of 2% milk. Now that it’ll be just me I’m totally switching to 1%.
So…clearly I’ve been gone. It’s been a very rough time again. =/ This time it was more personal issues that I’m definitely not going to go into so I’ll just say bare with me? I’m going to try and piece together what I ate over the last few days.
So I had pretty much the most amazing morning…which I shouldn’t have! I got up at 6am, without any alarm and decided to relax.
So I made a bowl of pumpkin oatmeal topped with a spoonful of cashew butter, craisins, and maple syrup and ate it slowly in bed while I read my favorite book, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. I ended up only eating 2/3 of the bowl, listening to my body.
