Well it was another work day yesterday starting off bright and early.
I ate a Satsuma to get my metabolism going and hit the road before 5am. I got a mile to work when I was forced to turn around and go all the way back up the hill to go all the way around due to an accident blocking the road. =( I ended up 10 minutes late. >.< I hate being late!
Yesterday should have felt extremely long, but it was actually a really great day. =)
It kicked off bright and early with a quick (didn’t give myself enough time) breakfast at work. Spinach Feta Wrap (which are freaking delicious, but tell them to cook it on a 2 setting so they aren’t soggy) and a tall iced Americano with one pump Pumpkin Spice and a splash of half and half. From now on I’m going to be linking the foods I eat at Starbucks so you all can check out the nutritional info easily, to see if it’s something you’d like to try. ^.~ I warn you though that I may be trying some foods that I wouldn’t normally touch if I saw the calorie info on them!! So at least now you’ll have an idea.
It was so nice to wake up in my own bed yesterday surrounded by my fluffy babies! I’m lucky, this time they decided not to hold a grudge and just love me. ^_^
Unfortunately our fridge is pretty bare so breakfast was pretty bleh. Kirkland Nonfat Greek Yogurt, crunchy peanut butter, golden raspberry jam (from the Missoula Farmer’s Market) and raw oats. Later I added some dried cherries for texture. Honestly, I didn’t eat it all. =/ It just wasn’t very good.
I’m definitely going to miss my early morning 60 minute lap swims and meeting the day like this. One things for sure about Montana, it sure has beautiful big skies.
With the help of Random.org the winner of the Huckleberry Jam Giveaway has been decided!
Heidi please email me your address and I’ll get this baby in the mail on Monday! Thanks to everyone who entered. =) Very cool hearing about unique fruits.
Now on to yesterday…
Man I love working a full day. Seriously, it feels good! Especially when that full day starts with a 60 minute lap swim.
Followed by a bowl of Optimum Slim with gooseberries, blueberry almonds, and some dried blueberries. I know it’s a strange combination but I’m hooked!
So there is definitely not enough hours in the day. This post itself proves that because my Tuesday started at 4am!
That’s right, up at 4am to head to Treasure State Donuts to observe the donut master herself, Steph, in the making of her precious morsels.
Woohoo, I got at least 9 hours of sleep last night. ^_^ It felt so good to sleep in, even when I had really strange zombie dreams.
Around 9am I got up and had the only breakfast I could find: Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds, fresh raspberries, and milk.
Lately my stomach has been getting pretty darn sick after breakfast. I’m not sure why, but today was no exception. I ignored it though and at 11am, I tried to swim. It turned into only a 30 minute lap swim however because with each lap I almost threw up. >.< I felt weak and feeble.
Man, I really didn’t do much physical activity today but I still feel exhausted!
This morning started off with me sleeping in..but apparently all I really need is an extra half hour because I was up at 7:30 am listening to the sounds of a cow elk calling. I spent another hour or so slinking around the house reading and cross-stitching until my mom and Dave got up.
They weren’t hungry for breakfast yet so I ended up eating just a bowl of Special K with Red Berries and half a banana by myself.
Pardon the late post but my life has been in a flurry!
Yesterday started off with a green smoothie containing milk, cottage cheese (didn’t want to open the new yogurt since I was leaving…), coconut oil, spinach, pineapple, and a dash of fish oil.
Did I mention I managed to break the other tall glass cup I was using after my Hello Kitty pint died? =/ I’m so accident prone it’s awful. Now I’m on to Ball jars…at least I have a plethora of them!
