Less Lost

Well oddly enough I managed to have a pretty productive and satisfying day. No, I’m not at all the master of biochemistry…but I feel less lost. ^_^

Breakfast started my day off right with a delicious batch of Kodiak Cakes topped with a little butter, a drizzle of maple syrup and almond butter, and a handful of fresh strawberries. Is it funny that I like my pancakes very thin? They taste better that way. I always have one pancake I prefer in my batch and it’s always the thinnest one. Most likely due to being less doughy and thus less bread like to my mouth. No wonder I love crepes!

Saturday @ Home

Sorry this is a day late but Chase and I had a little date night last night and went and saw the new Iron Man movie! It was a lot of fun. =) Here’s how my day went:

I was determined not to let the same thing that happened on Friday, happen yesterday. That meant starting my day with a big substantial breakfast! Kodiak Cakes with a little butter, drizzle of maple syrup, the last of the organic strawberries, and toasted walnuts. Love!

These easily kept me going through my 60 minute hill stationary bike ride. No sickness during or afterward. =)

Permission

Aw today was a good day. When I’m not waiting around to hear from people I get so much done!! Seriously, from now on I either have plans or I don’t. None of this maybe!

I slept in until my body was ready to start the day around 9:30am. I think Ophelia’s forgiven me for my vacation now and is thus allowing me to sleep more. <3 She’s such an angel. ~.^

For a couple weeks now I’ve had a craving for pancakes. Not just any pancakes though, Kodiak Cakes! I finally got another box of mix yesterday so this morning I was ready to take the time to make a 1/3 cup, top them with fresh strawberries, maple syrup, a touch of real butter, and toasted walnuts with a glass of milk to wash it all down of course. MMmm! I never ever thought I would be a pancake lover until I found Kodiaks.

It’s Baacckkkk

That’s right. My appetite is back and I’m feeling loads better. I didn’t start feeling better until around 5pm but hey, I’ll take it.

I had a nice lazy morning with a nice lazily prepared stack of Kodiak Cakes cooked with sliced bananas and topped with cookie butter and craisins. It actually didn’t turn out looking so well due to the fact bananas like to stick to pans when cooked! Overall I was a bit disappointed with my pancakes. >.< I think we’ll have a re-match tomorrow.

Getting Back To It

I feel so much better about today than yesterday. I appreciate all of your comforting comments though and agree, maybe I’m being a bit hard on myself.

Today I woke up hungry and knew exactly what I wanted to break my fast with: Kodiak Cakes topped with Cookie Butter and craisins plus a mug of milk. Super chewy and flavorful. It felt like eating cake without the over the top sugariness.

After doing some Anatomy & Physiology studying, I hit the gym for a 60 minute hill stationary bike ride. I did a whole bunch of abs and arm work last night while I was watching TV so I was too sore for strength training today.

Accountable

I worked really hard today at photographing absolutely everything I ate. Lately, I’ve been letting bites and nibbles go undocumented and I’m starting to feel it in my pants. You know, more doughy…. Taking a photo of every single morsel really makes me rethink if I need that piece of chocolate after all and makes me stay accountable. Today I have succeed. Hopefully I can keep it up.

Breakfast was 1 cup popped amaranth, a handful of raw almonds, golden raisins, ground flax, and 2% milk. Nothing fancy. Vinni sure liked to clean the bowl though.
