Been having one of those days where I don’t know what to eat.
Just to clean out the fridge a little I ended up having a sunny side up egg and a piece of toast with huckleberry jam for breakfast. It was actually quiet delicious. Maybe I need a little bit more savory in my life.
Yesterday (my only day off) was spent with two very special birthday babies! That’s right, Vincent and Ophelia are now 6 years old! Both of them got new collars for their birthdays which, of course, you cannot see because they are so fluffy. -_- Vinni’s is Batman themed though and Ophie’s is black with white polka dots and frills. I’m so proud of my gentle giants!
Yesterday should have felt extremely long, but it was actually a really great day. =)
It kicked off bright and early with a quick (didn’t give myself enough time) breakfast at work. Spinach Feta Wrap (which are freaking delicious, but tell them to cook it on a 2 setting so they aren’t soggy) and a tall iced Americano with one pump Pumpkin Spice and a splash of half and half. From now on I’m going to be linking the foods I eat at Starbucks so you all can check out the nutritional info easily, to see if it’s something you’d like to try. ^.~ I warn you though that I may be trying some foods that I wouldn’t normally touch if I saw the calorie info on them!! So at least now you’ll have an idea.
So as I transition from summer to school year and from unemployed to employed, I’m just going to try and get my daily post in whenever I have time! Sorry to not be more organized than that but I don’t wanna leave you guys hanging! That said, not even gonna wait for tomorrow morning to post about today since I have my first Starbucks training shift first thing in the AM!
This morning started off…well almost not in the morning! I slept in until 10am due to going to bed soo late. Probably not the smartest thing to do with school starting next week but hey, it was really fun hanging out with my boyfriend.
Anyway, I again had problems figuring out what to eat for breakfast. In the end I ate the last two French cookies and waited for lunch.
Ug! Maybe I should have taken a few days to recap because now I’m spent!
This morning, after having one of the worst dreams I’ve ever had in my life (no I don’t want to talk about it!), I treated myself to a ghetto mocha (instant hot chocolate mix with coffee) before breakfast.
Man we kept our weekend packed full of things and yet I had a great time. ^_^
Started off with a bowl of Kashi Golean Vanilla Graham Clusters with toasted walnuts and dried cherries. I bought this cereal thinking it would be like another cereal I loved (which I am still on the lookout for) but I really don’t like this one. Very…like eating twigs. No flavor in anything!
Man it takes getting up pretty darn early to get four people showered, dressed, and out the door to get some place for breakfast at 9 am. Let me just say by the time we got to the beach house I was starving! Luckily I got the coffee I won from Win before we got there, so the double tall ristretto latte helped.
There wasn’t the biggest breakfast selection so I had something I normally don’t. Half a sesame seed bagel with a blueberry cream cheese spread. It was actually quiet tasty.
