JIP:
Aww Japanese curry. <3 I lived off of you. It’s seriously the only style of curry I actually enjoy since it is traditionally very very mild. In fact, all the ones I’ve had have had no heat at all just a lovely curry flavor. I should make some soon!
Another hot cereal breakfast was enjoyed at the wee hours of the morning today. Blueberry oats topped with dried cherries and coconut flakes. <3 I’m so glad I started making these the day before because it seems like my brain is getting worse at functioning at this early time. >.<
1.5 mile walk in the rain and work went surprisingly smoothly. I am getting really fast and efficient on bar (making the drinks) and soon hopefully I’ll be able to chat with customers while I do it. Right now I’m concentrating too hard!
When it was my break time I was hungry. I stuck to my healthy snack of Granny Smith with Biscoff and a Earl Grey tea with a little half and half. Not going to lie though, a Petite Vanilla Bean Scone was calling my name! One of these days sconie….
Once I got back to my apartment I stuck to my plan and hit the gym for a 45 minute Hill stationary bike ride. I love to sweat.
Lunch was surprisingly scrumptious! Broiled Dr. Praeger California Burger topped with salsa, Pretzel Crisps with white cheddar, and a massaged kale salad with fresh organic strawberries and golden raisins. The salsa made all the difference for that awful burger! I expect I’ll be eating quiet a few of these until the end of the month…
Around 3pm after my return from lab, I was at an energy low. I made myself another cup of Early Grey with a splash of half and half and a delicious chocolate chip granola bar. It was perfect.
And then, while I worked on my HIV powerpoint, I got super super snacky. I pretty much finished off the rest of the bag of Pretzel Crisps. >.< They were on clearance because they were so broken up and that made it really easy to keep picking at all the pieces. Before I knew it I had to throw the rest of the bits in the garbage so I’d stop.
There’s a reason pretzels are a trigger food for me! Salty goodness that doesn’t fill you up one bit. Eat that much of anything else and I’d start to feel sick but not with these! It’s like air to me!
With this huge snack it’s now almost 8pm and I may just skip dinner. If I get hungry I’ll have a piece of kale and leek lasagna, if I don’t that’s fine.
And because I was asked here’s the Lacey Lilac nail polish and my new shoes! I had 3 different people/customers comment on how much they liked them today. ^_^ I’m pretty proud. I also realized that they remind me of my childhood toys, My Little Ponies. That makes me happy.
These flats are super cute and they fit my feet perfectly since they are medium width! I have wide feet. >.> I bought them so I would have comfortable walking shoes that would work with skirts and shorts this summer. I can’t wait for it to be nice out again so I can put some miles on them!
What are your trigger foods?
Oh ,those purple little ponies! And don’t forget the cotton candy pink one, too. V cute shoes My trigger foods are those semi sweet choc chips & tapioca pudding & v good ice cream & cookies…….how I love those cookies
