Phew. Today was a long long day. I’m still trying to relax but my head hurts so much. Due to working all day long, I’ve moved my treadmill run to tomorrow. -_- I am that beat!
My day started at 7am with a simple bowl of Annie’s Chocolate and Vanilla Bunnies, ground flax, banana, and skim milk. It wasn’t really what I was feeling like, but I ate it all the same.
I then drove 15 minutes by myself(!) on the 405 to Bellevue for my “working” interview! I arrived with plenty of time. I was really worried traffic would be crazy. Next I worked and worked until about 1pm when I was told I could take my only 30 minute lunch. T.T I couldn’t go anywhere with only 30 minutes!
Luckily I’d brought a few things from home. Cherry Pie Lara bar and a Granny Smith apple were enjoyed with the Fage Greek yogurt I purchased there.
Clearly that wasn’t enough and since I was still shaking I decided to celebrate Cookie Friday and bought myself this Raspberry Chocolate biscotti. <3 Yum. To be honest, I don’t think it was that great but I was so hungry I chowed down.
After work it took me a full half hour to get back home! Freeways suck when you barely even get to go 30 mph. >.< This little-city girl is not used to this! But as soon as I made it home Chase and I grabbed his umbrella and trekked to the Azteca about 1/2 mile away. At first we were headed for Chinese but half way there I thought about how good Mexican sounded. ^^
Starting with my ultimate trigger food: tortilla chips and salsa! Devoured! I was soo hungry.
Plus a large(!) house margarita. Mmmm!
Followed by a smorgasbord of veggie-fajitas! I managed to fit in three and brought the rest home for lunch tomorrow! I’d really missed veggies today. These fajitas were not the best I’ve ever had but you could tell they were “healthier”. Would I go back for them? Meh, maybe not.
For dessert a few hours later I ate the last of TJ’s Vanana lowfat yogurt with some Kashi Golean Crunch. I really wanted DQ soft serve but sometimes you just have to make do!
And now the news you’re all waiting for…
